Forklift from the power source, there are two kinds, one is an internal combustion forklift, an electric fork, internal combustion forklift is what we usually call the oil fork. There's diesel, there's gasoline, but most of them are diesel. Why is that? There are several reasons for this.
Diesel forklifts can be divided into three categories: electric diesel forklifts, storage forklifts and internal combustion forklifts.
1. Electric diesel forklift truck. The motor is used as power and the battery as energy. The bearing capacity is 1.0~4.8 tons, and the width of the working groove is generally 3.5~5.0m. Due to no pollution and low noise, it is widely used in working environments with high environmental requirements, such as medicine, food and other industries. Since each battery generally needs to be charged after about 8 hours of work, it is necessary to have a backup battery for multiple shifts, and the workplace should have a special charging place.
2, Warehouse diesel forklift. Warehouse forklift trucks are mainly used for handling warehouse goods. Except for a few warehouse forklifts (such as manual pallet forklifts) driven by manpower, the rest are driven by motors, which are widely used in the warehousing industry because of their compact structure, flexible movement, light weight and good environmental performance. When working in multiple shifts, forklifts driven by motors need to have spare batteries, and the workplace should have special charging places.
3, Diesel engine forklift. Internal combustion forklifts are divided into heavy forklifts, ordinary internal combustion forklifts, container forklifts and side forklifts. Generally, gasoline, diesel, liquefied petroleum gas or natural gas engines are used as power, and the carrying capacity is large, generally able to carry more than 5 tons of weight. Since exhaust emissions and noise are taken into account, they are usually used in outdoor locations where there are no special requirements for exhaust emissions and noise. Because of the convenience of refueling, it can achieve long-term continuous operation and work in harsh environments.
4, Diesel fuel low ignition point, relatively safe, not easy to cause fire.
5, The diesel engine does not need carburetor and ignition device, and these two parts are prone to failure, so in comparison, the failure rate is low, and the diesel engine structure is simple, easy maintenance.
6, Diesel engine exhaust gas is less environmental pollution than gasoline engines, especially less carbon monoxide components, less damage to the human body.
