Product Introduction
Charging process
The forklift charger is an essential piece of equipment designed to power batteries used in forklifts. This Forklift Charger works by allowing electrons to flow from the external circuit to the negative electrode material, providing a reliable and efficient power source for forklift operations. With its advanced technology and durable construction, the forklift charger ensures a consistent and safe charging process, making it an indispensable tool for maintaining the performance and longevity of forklift batteries. Invest in a high-quality forklift charger to keep your operations running smoothly and efficiently.
On the negative electrode, the positron i+jumps into the electrolyte from the positive electrode, crawls through the small hole in the diaphragm, swims to the negative electrode, and combines with the electrons that have already run over.
Discharge process
When the battery is discharged, the electrons e on the negative electrode run from the external circuit to the positive electrode, and the positive electrons i+jump into the electrolyte from the negative electrode, climb through the curved small hole on the diaphragm, swim to the positive electrode, and combine with the electrons that have already run over.
S series standard charging
Connect the battery and charger plug, turn on the power, and the charger will automatically start after an 8-second delay. During this delay period, the charger first performs a self check. During the self-test, if there are no system malfunctions and the single cell voltage of the battery is higher than 1.5V and lower than 2.4V, the circuit board controls K1.1 and K4.1 to work, and charging begins. The indicator light "ON" lights up, and the LCD displays the charging current. The charging coefficient and charging curve have been set in the circuit board. The default setting for the super charger is the charging curve Wsa+pulse, with a charging coefficient LF=1.10
Charging process
The charging process is fully automated and does not require manual monitoring. After the charging starts, the computer system monitors the charging process. If the single cell voltage of the battery is below 1.5V after 10 minutes of charging, or if the battery voltage is below 2.0V after 1 hour of charging, the charging will be interrupted, and the LED indicator light will indicate a battery error.
If the charged amount reaches the rated capacity of the battery but does not reach the discharge point voltage, the charging machine will give an incorrect indication.
The charging process continues, but is calculated based on the rated capacity of the battery. After charging to 80%, the 80% LED indicator light will quickly light up.
In order to provide the best charging capacity for the battery, the circuit board will automatically adjust the charging coefficient and charging time based on the discharge depth. When the gas release point is reached, 96% of the battery has already been charged. The remaining charging capacity will be automatically calculated based on the selected charging coefficient. The shortest charging time is 60 minutes.
The charging computer system will monitor the charging process, calculate the total charging amount, and terminate the charging process in a timely manner. After the battery is fully charged, the charging machine automatically stops charging. The 100% indicator light is on, and the LCD displays "charge end". After the charging is completed, the charging machine will add 3 additional pulse charges to ensure good electrolyte mixing.
After charging, if the battery is still connected to the charger, the charging machine will provide maintenance charging and balanced charging for the battery.
Forklift Charger E-series standard charging
The voltage of the Forklift Charger and the charged pool should be consistent. Connect the output connector, connect the input power, and pay attention to the input AC power voltage, which should be consistent with the nominal voltage value of the charger. The charger starts charging within 8-15 seconds.
