Product Introduce
Diesel forklifts require regular inspection and maintenance to ensure that all parts of the vehicle are in good performance and safe operation.
However, in daily use, inspection and maintenance are often overlooked, and problems should be identified and resolved promptly. In order to improve the working conditions of accessories, reduce wear and tear, eliminate hidden dangers, prevent accidents to ensure work safety, avoid early damage, extend service life, and maintain good technical condition of various accessories and assemblies.
During operation, reduce fuel consumption, wear and damage of spare parts, maximize the interval between major repairs of the entire vehicle or various assemblies, and reduce forklift noise and environmental pollution.
Diesel Forklift Maintenance Cycle
1. The first level maintenance time is 150 hours of cumulative operation of the engine, and for internal combustion forklifts with an annual working time of less than 150 hours, the first level maintenance is carried out once a year.
2. The second level maintenance interval is 450 hours, and three forklifts with less than 450 working hours should undergo second level maintenance every three years.
The daily maintenance of diesel forklifts mainly focuses on the cleaning, lubrication, and inspection of various system components of the entire forklift, which is the responsibility of the forklift driver. The driver should strictly follow the content and technical requirements of daily maintenance, and promptly handle any abnormal conditions found in the forklift once a day per shift. The specific content is as follows:
1. Check if the fuel, lubricating oil, hydraulic oil, and coolant of the forklift are within the standard range;
2. Check for any leakage of oil and water in the entire vehicle;
3. Check the operation of various instruments, signals, lighting, switches, buttons, and other auxiliary equipment of the diesel forklift;
4. Check if there is any abnormal noise from the forklift engine and if it is working properly;
5. Check the technical condition and fastening of the forklift's steering, braking, wheels/tires, and traction devices, whether the tire pressure meets the requirements, and remove any debris embedded in the tire surface;
6. Check the technical condition and tightness of the lifting mechanism, tilting mechanism, fork frame, and hydraulic transmission system;
7. Check if the onboard tools and commonly used accessories are complete;
8. Check and adjust the clearance between the brake pads and brake drums of the hand and foot brakes;
9. Check if the multi way directional valve, lifting cylinder, tilt cylinder, steering cylinder, and gear pump are working properly;
10. Replace the oil in the oil pan, check if the ventilation pipe of the crankcase is intact, clean the oil filter and diesel filter element;
11. Check the cylinder pressure or vacuum degree;
12. Check if the shifting operation of the forklift transmission is normal;
13. Check and adjust the valve of the forklift engine;
14. Check the tightness of the forklift cooling fan belt;
15. Check if the thermostat is working properly;
16. Check whether the installation of the engine generator and starter motor is firm, whether the wiring terminals are clean and firm, and whether the carbon brushes and commutator are worn;
17. Check if the oil inlet filter of the diesel tank is blocked or damaged. If found, clean or replace the filter.
